  6. DESCRIPTION
  7.  
  8. TexView is a browser for texture or background bitmaps. It can be difficult
  9. to select the right texture or web page background from a large collection 
  10. of files on disk. TexView allows preview of tiled textures in .jpg, .bmp, 
  11. or .gif format. Bitmaps or file names can be copied to the clipboard and
  12. junk textures can be deleted from within the program.

  16. GETTING STARTED
  17.  
  18. Using TexView is easy, just start it up.  There is no installation or DLLs 
  19. required. All that is required is TexView.exe which can be placed in any 
  20. directory. A few sample textures are included, and can be deleted if 
  21. required.It runs on Windows 95 only. Usage is obvious.  Some textures 
  22. don't look wonderful in 256 color mode.

  26. The TexView utility is copyright Aubrey Software. You may use this
  27. free software for any purpose, as long as you leave all copyright notices
  28. in place and assume all risks associated with its use (regardless of the 
  29. consequences).
